The exchange students were able to experience Japanese tea ceremony (Sado) with the cooperation of the Hokusei Tea Ceremony Club on Wednesday, May 23.

This was for the first experience to make traditional green tea for almost all of the exchange students. The students learned how to make tea with the instruction of a tea ceremony teacher, they also enjoyed eating Wagashi (a Japanese traditional sweet) with their traditional green tea.

After the tea ceremony finished, they struggled with kneeling on the floor Japanese style, but they enjoyed experiencing this well-known part of Japanese culture.
