The exchange students had a chance to try wearing kimono on Tuesday, May 22.
At first, they seemed slightly puzzled as they put on the unfamiliar clothes. However, they were pleased to wear furisode (long-sleeve kimono for women) and hakama (Japanese traditional kimono for men).
Afterwards, they enjoyed taking pictures of each other at the Japanese wedding ceremony hall in the hotel where the event was held. They had fun experiencing this aspect of traditional Japanese culture.
